GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Two men have been charged in connection to last night’s deadly shooting at a Greenville apartment complex.

Police say 33-year-old Patrick Bland was found around 7:00 p.m. near building 3909 at Sterling Pointe.

Bland died at the scene.

Police this morning charged Kentavious Condery, 20, of Farmville, with murder, while 32-year-old Deontre Taylor, of Winterville, was charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property and possession of a firearm by felon.

Detectives believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between neighbors. They say Bland was visiting Taylor at the time and he was not the intended target.

Condery is being held on a $5,000,000 bond, while Taylor’s bond was set at $225,000.
