GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A Greenville woman is in jail accused of killing her husband yesterday afternoon.
Warrants say Khadijah Edwards was arrested last night by Greenville police on a charge of murder.
The victim was Tyrell Minor. A police report says a handgun was used in the murder and that the victim was 25 years old.
Greenville police say it was a domestic murder and it happened at Edwards’ apartment on Holden Drive shortly after 5:00 p.m.
The 30-year-old Edwards is being held on a $2 million bond.
Greenville police originally said the suspect and victim were in a dating relationship. They now say the two were married.
