BEAUFORT, N.C. (WITN) – Deputies say they’re searching for the person responsible for stealing three boats in Carteret County on Saturday.
According to the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office, two were stolen from Boats 365 off of Hwy 24 and one from Goose Creek Marina in the same area.
Authorities are asking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect whose vehicle is described as a dark in color Ford F-250, with dark in color rims.
They say the boats include: a 28-foot Cobia, 2024-year model, with dual 300 HP outboard motors (dark gray in color), a 26-foot Cobia, 2024-year model, with dual 200 HP outboard motors (light gray in color) and 24-foot Bay Rider, 2024-year model, with a single outboard motor (white/cream in color).

All vessels have been entered as stolen in NCIC.
