AUTOPSY:  No obvious signs of foul play in missing man found in trailer

Bobby Barnes, 60, was reported missing to police on Monday.

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Deputies say an autopsy has been completed for a missing man found last week in a trailer and there were no signs of foul play.

Bobby Barnes’ body was discovered last Thursday morning in a mobile home outside of Farmville.

Sgt. Lee Darnell says they are still awaiting on toxicology results to make the determination on the cause of death for Barnes.

The 60-year-old man was reported missing to the Farmville Police Department on May 13th.

Deputies have charged Kristy Gray with concealing Barnes’s death. Deputies say she lived at the mobile home where the body was found.

She is also charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and financial card theft. The sheriff’s office says Gray was using Barnes’s financial cards for her benefit after his death.

Gray remains in jail on a $200,000 bond.
