WHO ARE WE? Deputies searching for Pitt County armed robbers

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Deputies in one Eastern Carolina county are asking for your help in tracking down two people who robbed a store last week.

Pitt County deputies today released surveillance photos from Michelle’s Community Storie on U.S. 258 outside of Fountain.

One man was described as a tall, light-skinned African American man wearing a black hoodie, black toboggan, and black plants. The man was armed with a black semiautomatic handgun.

The second man who entered the store is also described as a tall, light-skinned African American, wearing a black hoodie, and gray sweats with three stripes going down the sides of the legs. He had a handgun.

Witnesses told deputies the two used a dark car to make their getaway and were last seen hearing toward Edgecombe County on U.S. 258.
