GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – Police in one Eastern Carolina city have identified a woman that died after a domestic fight ended in gunfire.

Goldsboro police were called to a shooting at 308 N. Kornegay Street around 9:15 a.m.

When officers got to the scene, they found a 23-year-old woman who had been shot. She died at the scene.

Goldsboro police have now identified the woman as Nymirra Bynum, of Goldsboro.

Police say the shooting stemmed from domestic violence between the woman and a man that she knew.
