KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – Police are investigating after three people were hurt in a drive-by shooting Monday night.

Major Brandon Turner says police were called around 9:30 p.m. to Richard Green Apartments, a public housing complex. They were told people had been shot near the 300 block of S. Davis St.

Police found two teenage girls – one 13 and the other 15 – with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital. Police describe their conditions as stable.

Detectives were later called to UNC Lenoir Health Care where they found 20-year-old Rayshon Aytch who’d also been shot.

No suspect is in custody at this time.
