UPDATE: Craven County missing person found safe

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – The Craven County Sheriff’s Office says they have located 59-year-old Angela Dixon.

They say she is safe after reportedly leaving on foot from her residence off Willis Neck Road in Vanceboro.

A sheriff’s office here in the east is asking for your help finding a missing person in Craven County.

The Craven County Sheriff’s Office seeks your help in locating Angela Dixon, 59 years old. Dixon was last seen at her residence off Willis Neck Rd in Vanceboro, NC. It is suspected that Dixon left on foot.

Dixon is 5′6, 130lbs, with black hair, and was dressed in all black. There is a possibility that Dixon is experiencing early signs of dementia.

Deputies are actively conducting search and rescue operations on foot, via drone, and with their K-9 Unit.
