Two Vanceboro men busted on trafficking charges

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Two Vanceboro men are in jail on million-dollars bonds after being arrested on drug trafficking charges.

Craven County deputies say the arrests came after multiple simultaneous raids on homes in the Vanceboro area on Tuesday.

During the raids, investigators seized fentanyl, crack cocaine, marijuana, and two guns.

Charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl and two counts of sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substances was 41-year-old William Burke, while 47-year-old Troy Grant was charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl.

Both men remain in jail. Burke has a $2 million bond, while Grant’s bond was set at $1 million.
