Two men behind bars on drug related charges

Warrants obtained by WITN say both men were arrested Wednesday on a combined total of 12 drug charges.

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) -Jail records show two men are behind bars on drug and drug traffic charges, among others.

Limited information is available at this time, but Pitt County jail records show Lexter Wright and James Swinson Jr. are behind bars on a combined total of 12 drug charges. Swinson is facing an additional flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle and car lighting violation.

Warrants obtained by WITN say both men were arrested Wednesday by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Alcohol Law Enforcement officers.

Swinson, 32, is from Farmville, and Wright, 34, is from Greenville.

Both Writght and Swinson are facing two felony trafficking cocaine charges, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell/ deliver cocaine, and possession with intent to manufacture/ sell/ deliver a schedule II controlled substance.

Swinson is behind bars on a $260,000 bond, and Wright is behind bars under no bond.
