Two Greenville men facing 20 drug charges

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Two Greenville men are facing multiple charges after a drug raid on Thursday.

Pitt County deputies say William Chesson III is in jail without bond. He is charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, three counts of possession with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver heroin/fentanyl, three counts of possession with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver cocaine, four counts of selling controlled substances within 1000 feet of a school, and four counts of maintaining a place/dwelling/vehicle for sale of controlled substances.

Michael Johnson is charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, maintaining a place/dwelling/vehicle for sale of controlled substances, selling controlled substances within 1000 feet of a school, and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Johnson is being held on a $750,000 secured bond.

Deputies say the arrests wrap up a month-long investigation after a raid at a home on Myrtle Street. Seized was a large quantity of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash, according to a news release.
