GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Beryl has weakened to post-tropical status, meaning that the system is no longer a tropical cyclone. Despite the storm weakening, Beryl will continue to produce copious amounts of rain across the Ohio Valley and then eventually merge with a frontal system, providing a chance of storms for Eastern NC later in the week

It is a reminder to have your hurricane kits stocked and on standby if we see a storm coming our way this season. Outside of Beryl, the tropics have gone quiet and the National Hurricane Center is not tracking any other storms at this time.
