Troopers looking for driver after pedestrian hit in Duplin County

DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Troopers are asking for your help in locating the driver of a car that hit a pedestrian Sunday night in Duplin County.

The Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 8:10 p.m. on Pasture Branch Road near Browns Terrace Circle in Greenevers.

The man was walking north in the southbound lane, and the car was also traveling north.

Troopers say the driver didn’t stop after the crash. They are looking for a silver 2019 to 2024 Nissan Altima with the left corner of the bumper missing.

The victim has serious injuries, according to the Highway Patrol.
