Trio charged in Pitt County store robbery

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Three people already facing attempted armed robbery charges, are now under arrest for a robbery at another Pitt County store two days earlier.

The robbery happened on March 19th at the Family Dollar on Pactolus Highway, just outside of Greenville.

Deputies have charged 34-year-old Tairina Spellman, 24-year-old Nicholas Bullock, and 44-year-old Reginald Gorham, with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspire to commit robbery, and second-degree kidnapping.

The three are also charged, along with Reveaon Sutton, with the March 21st attempted robbery at Nick’s Food Mart in Bethel.

Deputies say during the investigation, they were able to link the two cases together.

Gorham is being held without bond, Bullock has a $500,000 secured bond, while Spellman’s bond was set at $461,000 secured.
