Three face drug charges after citizen complaints lead to arrests in Beaufort County

BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Three people in Beaufort County are facing drug charges after deputies say citizen complaints led to an investigation.

Caitlyn Wyatt, James Rodgers, and Jessica Coffman were arrested after deputies say citizens complained about property crimes in the neighborhood and there were a lot of people going to Rodger’s home.

The arrest happened after deputies say they made multiple buys of cocaine from Rodgers and executing a search warrant at his Washington home.

Deputies say over 15 grams of “crack cocaine,” around one gram of heroin, and one ounce of marijuana is taken.

Rodgers is jailed in Beaufort County Detention Center under a $15,000 bond with three charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver Cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to keep/sell controlled substances, and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wyatt is jailed under a $1,000 bond with a felony count of possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Coffman is jailed under a $1,000 bond with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
