Three face drug charges after citizen complaints lead to arrest in Beaufort County

WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) – Three people from Beaufort County are facing drug charges from citizen complaints leading to an investigation.

Caitlyn Marie Wyatt, James Earl Rodgers, and Jessica Virginia Coffman (respectively) were arrested after citizens complained about property crimes in the neighborhood and heavy traffic to Rodger’s home.

The arrest happened from multiple buys from Rodgers and searching his home.

From the investigation, over 15 grams of “crack cocaine,” around one gram of heroin, and one ounce of marijuana is taken.

Wyatt is jailed under a $1000 bond with a felony count of possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rodgers is jailed in Beaufort County Detention Center under a $15,000 bond with three charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver Cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to keep/sell controlled substances, and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Coffman is jailed under a $1000 bond with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
