Three arrested after multiple shootings this weekend in Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – Police in one Eastern Carolina city say two men and a teenager are responsible for multiple shootings all within several blocks of each other.

Goldsboro police say they were alerted to the shootings by their ShotSpotter system.

Police have charged Zachery Hall, 18, of Dudley, with two counts of discharge weapon into occupied property, remove serial number from firearm, aid and abet, two counts of discharge firearm in city, damage to property. and two counts of breaking and entering. His bond was set at $55,000 secured.

Hank Sebourn III, 19, of Kinston, is facing alter/ remove serial number from firearm, discharge firearm from enclosure, two counts of breaking and entering, discharge firearm in city, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond was set at $65,000 for him.

Juvenile petitions are pending against the teenager, according to police.

The first shooting happened around 6:00 p.m. Saturday where 42 shots were fired near 105 Bright Street, 909 East Walnut Street, and 114 Lionel Street. Officers say they found a damaged vehicle on East Walnut Street.

Around 8:20 p.m. Sunday, eight shots were fired around 902 East Walnut Street. That home was hit by gunfire, according to police.

Then around 12:50 a.m. today, another eight shots were fired at 806 East Walnut Street. Officers spotted three people who broke into a nearby building in a failed attempt to get away. In addition to the trio arrested, police also found a gun and ammunition.
