The City of Greenville puts out safety notice ahead of film production explosives

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – The City Of Greenville is making residents aware they may hear loud booms this weekend.

The City of Greenville says residents of Pitt and surrounding counties may hear explosives on Sunday, March 3, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Officals say the explosives are part of a film production in the Sugg Parkway industrial area.

They also said Greenville Fire/Rescue members will be at the production.

The city says there is no threat to the public but is asking residents to stay clear of Sugg’s Parkway during the time of explosives.
