The 28th annual Coastal Carolina Railroads Train Show

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) -The 28th annual Coastal Carolina Railroads Train Show is happening this weekend in New Bern.

Kids and adults could be seen at the Riverfront Convention Center in New Bern on Saturday for the 28th annual Coastal Carolina Railroads Train Show.

Tommy Dawson who is a vendor at this event explains what this show is.

“New Bern train show we usually do it once a year out here and we have great times and turnout and stuff, people coming in and out of here enjoy running trains like I do,” says Dawson.

People were engaged with the large variety of models and layouts.

Joseph Hofmann with Carolina Coastal Railroads in New Bern was excited to see a big crowd.

“The best thing I can see is watching the kids come in here when their eyes get that big I mean you can’t put a price on it when the kids see the trains running,” says Hofmann.

Bentley Langley says he enjoys being able to have an up-close experience with the wonderful world of trains.

“I like the sets like how they set it up and everything,” says Langley

This train show is a two-day event so if you can’t make it today you can always go tomorrow.
