Teen shot, others hurt in fight in Wallace

WALLACE, N.C. (WITN) – Police in one Eastern Carolina town say three people went to the hospital after a shooting and fight last night.

Wallace police said it happened in the 400 block of East Cliff Street.

Police said a 16-year-old was hit by the gunfire, while two others were injured in a fight. All three victims were sent to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said four people are in custody and the shooting appears to be between acquaintances.

Authorities have yet to release information on those arrested.
