Super Bowl Sunday means super sales for businesses in the east

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – The big game is expected to bring big bucks to local businesses in the east.

Restaurants like Coco’s Sports Bar and Restaurant in Greenville say they expect more customers than on a normal weekend on Super Bowl Sunday.

According to Restaurant Business Magazine, nearly 4 in 10 viewers planned to order food for the game, leading to a big score for restaurants.

Owner Frankco Gilliam says he is ready to serve a larger crowd than at last year’s Super Bowl celebration.

“Last year, about 150 people came out and this year we are expecting a little more than that, teaming up with a different organization to have something and give back to the community.”

Gilliam says if you can’t make it out to the Super Bowl party at Coco’s, you can order online and have their food delivered straight to your door.

Super Bowl 58 is Sunday, February 11th in Las Vegas.
