SNOW HILL, N.C. (WITN) – Police are searching for a man they say held up a gas station early this morning.

Snow Hill police say it happened at the Speedway on Kingold Blvd. just before 3:20 a.m.

Police say according to the clerk a man in a black hoodie and a mask came in demanding “$100′s.” Police say the man took the register’s cash drawer and left on foot.

A K9 search of the man’s track toward Gregory Avenue found the register drawer and a black toy gun.
