GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – The intense heat we experienced over the weekend and past several days, has finally come to an end. As we return to a normal summertime pattern, there will be a chance of a brief shower or storm, especially along the coast where the sea breeze will be activated.

Temperatures over the next several days are expected to remain in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
