Rocky Mount man and Kinston woman charged with trafficking fentanyl

Lenoir County, N.C. (WITN) – A Rocky Mount man and Kinston woman were arrested by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking fentanyl last weekend on Saturday, April 6th.

A Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped 29-year-old Tykeim Randolph of Rocky Mount and 23-year-old Jasmine Mills of Kinston.

During the stop, deputies say they found narcotics in the vehicle that tested positive for fentanyl.

Because of the number of narcotics seized from the search, the measured total weight of the pills was 7.22 grams and the total quantity was 18 pill dosage units.

Randolph and Mill are charged with trafficking schedule I controlled substance for possession, trafficking schedule I controlled substance for transportation, possession of schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mills was also charged with driving while impaired and turned over to the N.C. State Highway Patrol, while Randolph was issued a citation for aiding and abetting DWI.

Randolph and Mills were issued secured bonds and are in the Lenoir County Jail for the LCSO charges.

Mills also received a secured bond from the Highway Patrol for the DWI charge.
