Retired NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, Jr. to race in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Retired NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will be coming to an Eastern Carolina raceway this coming weekend to compete.

New River All-American Speedway in Jacksonville says that Earnhardt will be driving the iconic no. 3 that was made famous by his late father, Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

Earnhardt will be competing in Saturday’s National Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram 250 which is part of the zMAX CARS Tour.

Earnhardt wrapped his full-time NASCAR circuit career in 2017.

This weekend’s race begins at 7 p.m.
