GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) -Law Enforcement United stopped in Greenville Monday on their way to Washington D.C.

Members of Team Greenville embarked on their annual bicycle journey to Police Week.

The ride and national event honor officers who have been killed in the line of duty.

This year’s ride carries even more meaning as they remember officers who were killed last week in Charlotte.

The ride is just over 250 miles and will take about three days.
