GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – One person is dead after a shooting at an Eastern Carolina grocery store.

The shooting happened at the Food Lion on East Ash Street in Goldsboro. That location is at the Wayne Plaza Shopping Mall which also contains a state license plate agency.

Goldsboro police have not released many details on the shooting, including whether it happened inside the grocery store.
