GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – Police in Goldsboro are investigating after a stabbing sent one person to the hospital.

On May 24th, around 11:58 p.m. officers with the Goldsboro Police Department went to the 600 block of Stronach Avenue for a report of a man being stabbed. When they arrived, police say they found Antonio Devonne Wooten, 46, suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen.

Wooten was taken to UNC Health Wayne, but was transferred to ECU health. He is currently in stable condition.
