Police ID man accused of threatening Walmart employee with knife

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Police say they have identified a man who they said pulled a knife on a clerk at a big box store.

Greenville police say it happened on February 15th at the Walmart on East 10th Street around 10 p.m.

The man was caught trying to conceal items under his coat as he left the store, according to police.

When an employee asked for his receipt, the man pulled a knife and told the worker to back away.

Police say no one was injured.

Officers have yet to release the man’s name and any charges that he might face.
