Pitt County woman facing child sex charges

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A Greenville woman is out on bond after her arrest on a child sex charge.

Pitt County deputies began investigating back in early January after a report of alleged child abuse. They say that they suspected that Keosha Johnson had an inappropriate recording on her cell phone.

With the help of the SBI, deputies say that they were able to get the recording from the phone.

Johnson turned herself in on Monday at the Pitt County Magistrate’s Office and was charged with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. She was released after posting a $50,000 secured bond.
