Pitt Co. jail records show man jailed again, this time for breaking into vehicles

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Jail records show a man is back behind bars after being arrested less than a year ago.

The Pitt County jail records show Michael White is facing multiple charges for breaking into cars.

In October 2023, WITN reported that the sheriff’s office charged him with breaking into a county church. Pitt County deputies say Vision Caster Ministries was broken into on the afternoon of September 28th.

The church is on Old Tar Road outside of Winterville. Deputies say several items inside the church were taken in the burglary.

According to the county jail, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office arrested White Wednesday.

He’s facing two counts breaking/ entering a motor vehicle with theft, breaking and or entering, breaking/ entering a motor vehicle, interfering with an electronic monitor device, and probation violation.

He’s under a $160,000 bond.
