Pitt Co. jail records show man jailed again, charged for vehicle break-ins

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Jail records show a man is back behind bars after being arrested less than a year ago.

The Pitt County jail records show Michael White is facing multiple charges for breaking into cars after being arrested Wednesday.

In October 2023, WITN reported that the sheriff’s office charged him with breaking into a county church on Old Tar Road outside of Winterville on September 28th. Pitt County deputies say several items inside Vision Caster Ministries were taken in the burglary.

According to the county jail, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office arrested White yesterday under a $160,000 bond.

He’s facing two counts breaking/ entering a motor vehicle with theft, breaking and or entering, breaking/ entering a motor vehicle, interfering with an electronic monitor device, and probation violation.
