GREENE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Eastern Carolina fire crews are fighting flames consuming a farm building off Highway 58 North through the night.
The Snow Hill Rural Fire Department says their firefighters are helping Bull Head Fire Department crews put out a fire burning a hay barn.
Officials say firefighters were called last night at 8:53 p.m.
Crew members say one person has been taken to hospital for minor injuries.
Information is limited, but pictures shared by the Snow Hill Rural Fire Department show crews fighting the blaze inside the barn on the ground and above in the sky.
