Phillip’s First Alert Forecast: Another night of freezing temps before a big warm up Sunday

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – After a cold Saturday, tonight will be clear early with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s. Southerly winds return Sunday as will some clouds. Sunday will be milder with highs in the mid 60s with clouds increasing throughout the day. Rain will roll through ENC Sunday night into early Monday morning and we can expect up to an inch of rain across the area. Temperatures will tumble after the rain falls. Monday will see highs in the 40s as northwest winds pick up. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning we will drop to 20 degrees which is the coldest we have been since January of 2019.
