WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Police in one Eastern Carolina town are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a driver who killed a man last night on a busy highway.

Winterville police say the body of Marquez Outlaw was found by officers on Highway 11 near Davenport Farm Road around 9:20 p.m.

Police don’t know exactly when a vehicle hit the 32-year-old man from Grifton while they believe it could have been a Ford vehicle.
