Parole search leads to multiple drug charges

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Two people are facing multiple drug charges after deputies in one Eastern Carolina county searched a home on Saturday.

The search happened on Rams Horn Road outside of Greenville.

Pitt County deputies were assisting the North Carolina Division of Community Supervision.

They say Charles Dickerson, of Grimesland, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. While being searched, deputies say they found heroin on him.

The 53-year-old man was released after posting a $60,000 secured bond.

During the search of the home, deputies say they found meth, cocaine, Xanax, and drug paraphernalia. Amanda Nenninger was arrested on those drug charges along with a parole violation charge.

The 33-year-old Nenninger was jailed on a $160,000 secured bond. She was released on Sunday after posting bond.
