ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – An Onslow County roadway will close to traffic for a few days due to construction.

Today at 8 a.m., the North Carolina Department of Transportation says crews will start working to replace a drainage pipe on Blue Creek Road.

Officials say traffic will be detoured onto Highway 24 and Pony Farm Road, allowing access to either side of the closure.

The roadway near Car-Lynn Land is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1st.
