RICHLANDS, N.C. (WITN) – A roadway in Onslow County is closing for multiple days for construction Monday morning.
This morning at 8 a.m., The North Carolina Department of Transportation says crews will start work to install two drainage pipes on Barbee Road in Richlands.
Today’s closure will last until 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to NCDOT.
Then the organization says a second closure will happen between 8 a.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday.
Officials say the closures on Barbee Road will be about a mile from Huffmantown Road.
NCDOT says drivers should use Huffmantown Road and Richlands Loop as a detour.
