ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – The final of three drainage pipes will be installed in an Onslow County roadway, and construction starts Monday morning.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation says crews will be installing a pipe on Blue Creek Road outside of Jacksonville.

The roadway will be closed until Wednesday, May 15th. This is the final of three drainage pipes being installed.

Officials say traffic will be detoured onto Highway 24/335, also known as Richlands Highway, and Pony Farm Road to get around the closure.
