Onslow Co.Parks & Rec wants your input on two potential park concepts

ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Over the coming days, Onslow County Parks & Recreation is looking for the public’s opinion on developing two local parks.

Onslow County Parks & Recreation is hosting two drop-in workshops. Officials say they are being hosted at Hines Farm Park and Stables and Onslow Pines Park.

These workshop sessions are drop-in style open house meetings with Onslow County staff and consultants on hand to answer questions about park concept plans.

During the workshops, the organization says information will be shared about future plans for parks, including a playground at Hines Farm Park and Stables.

The first session is today at Hines Farm Park & Stables. The second is at Onslow Pines Park on Wednesday. Both sessions will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
