North Pitt’s Zamareya Jones named to McDonald’s All-American Game

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – North Pitt girls basketball star Zamareya Jones has been selected to the 2024 McDonald’s All-American Game to play for the east team. Jones recently became her high school’s all-time leading scorer. She is signed to play for NC State in college. Zamareya and Grace Christian School’s Sarah Strong are the two North Carolinians to make it.

Three North Carolina boys made it. Drake Powell of Northwood High School who is committed to play for North Carolina, Jayden Quaintance of Word of God Christian Academy who is committed to play for Kentucky, and North Mecklenburg’s Isaiah Evans who is committed to play for Duke.

The games are April 2nd in Houston, Texas.
