NORTH HAMPTON COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A school system in the east has pushed the start time back for morning weather.

The school system says schools are being delayed an hour for foggy conditions this morning.

North Hampton, Hertford, Bertie, Gates, and Chowan Counties are under a dense fog advisory this morning until 9 a.m., according to WITN meteorologists.

They say visibility is one-quarter mile or less in dense fog, making driving conditions hazardous
