North Carolina flu deaths reach 292

The number of weekly deaths continues to decline in the state since peaking on January 6th.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – Five more people have died from the flu in North Carolina.

The latest numbers released today from the Department of Health and Human Services put the death toll now at 292.

That compares to 196 deaths during the previous flu season.
