GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) -Downtown Greenville has a new music studio and the business has a connection to a restaurant next door.
Have you ever considered pursuing your passion for music by recording, producing, and mixing your own tracks? Look no further than Nash Studios, where your dream can become a reality.
On January 17th, Nash Hot Chicken opened a music studio next to their popular restaurant in downtown Greenville. The studio offers music lessons and a space for recording and mixing music – plus the opportunity to work in a studio alongside professionals.
Morgan Hudson, one of the co-owners of Nash Studios had the idea with her 3 other bandmates who also co-own the company.
” We just all love music, we love creating and you know this space came available and we wanted to just live out our dreams of having a place to practice, to record, and also to help other artists live out their dream too.” Says Hudson.
Co-owner, Kurt Hauser is ready to help other artists’ visions come alive in the new studio.
” I am most excited just to work with artists, I have worked as a solo artist for a while producing my music and stuff like that. I have worked with a handful of artists but just to kind of have a revolving door, hey this guy wants an electronic piece, this guy is a local rapper, this is a country singer l, you know I’m excited to work with different genres and different styles of music.” Says Hauser.
They are looking forward to seeing the studio grow and for locals to enjoy this space. co-owner Ryan Griffin, who grew up in the area, remembers that Greenville used to be famous for musicians coming here and getting their start. Griffin hopes that the new studio will bring that back.
” I really hope this studio can bring it to the forefront again and be an echo and a champion for local music around this area.” Says Griffin.
The official grand opening for Nash Studio is February 7th and they are already accepting clients.
