GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Two Louisiana residents and a Texas man are in an Eastern Carolina jail accused of stealing money out of a Greenville bank’s ATM.

Greenville police say two people used a truck stolen earlier to use a tow strap to get money inside an ATM in the parking lot of the PNC Bank on East Arlington Boulevard.

Charged with safecracking, felony conspiracy, and fugitive from other state are Andre Bennett, of Houston, Texas, Devontae Francois, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and Arlana Wiltz, of Carencro, Louisiana.

Police say around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday they were notified by an alarm company about the break-in.

After getting out of the stolen truck, police say two of the robbers then got into a waiting nearby car.

Officers tried to stop that car, which led to a chase that ended on U.S. 264 just outside of Wilson. An undisclosed amount of money was found in the car and all three were arrested.

Wiltz’s bond is $625,000, and while Bennett and Francois have $100,000 bonds.
