PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Two people were shot at a Pitt County business Saturday night.
The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office released information on the shooting this afternoon.
A release said it happened at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at New York Grocery on Old River Road, outside of Greenville.
Deputies said the two victims received non-life-threatening injuries.
WITN obtained the incident report on the shooting.
It says one of the victims was a 26-year-old man and that the crimes committed were aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
The report says an AR-15-style rifle was stolen and damage was done to a car.
The sheriff’s office said no other information would be released on the shooting.
