New Bern police looking for armed robbery suspect

NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – Police in New Bern are asking that a man wanted for an armed robbery this afternoon to turn himself in.

Christopher Lysogorski is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police say around 12:25 p.m. they were called to the 2500 block of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard for the robbery.

A man told them that Lysogorski held him at gunpoint and robbed him. The two men know each other, according to police.

Because of the robbery, Grover C. Fields Middle School was temporarily put on lockdown.
