New Bern police arrest man wanted for robbery earlier this month

NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) – Police have caught up with a man they say was wanted for robbing a man at gunpoint earlier this month.

New Bern police say that officers found and arrested Christopher Lysogorski in the 4500 block of Country Club Road.

Lysogorski was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a weapon by a felon. He was also charged with failure to appear.

It was back on May 10th that police said Lysogorski robbed a man at gunpoint in the 2500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Lysogorski is being held without bond on the robbery and weapon possession charge. He was given an $80,000 secured bond for the failure to appear charge.

His first court appearance is set for May 28th.
