New Bern man & woman facing multiple drug charges

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – An ongoing investigation into the sale of illegal drugs has landed two people in jail.

Craven County deputies say Brian Singleton, 54, and Jennie Holt, 41, were arrested Wednesday.

Deputies used a K9 for a raid at a home for the search warrant at 806 Neuse Drive in James City.

During the search, deputies say they found cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, multiple firearms, and $3,800 in cash.

Singleton was charged with trafficking cocaine, three counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule VI controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Holt was charged with trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule II controlled substance, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule VI controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both Singleton and Holt are being held on $200,000 secured bonds.
