Nearly a kilo of cocaine seized in Lenoir County bust

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – Three Lenoir County men are in jail after deputies say they seized nearly a kilo of cocaine.

Lenoir County deputies say on Wednesday they concluded a months-long drug investigation into the distribution of cocaine throughout the county.

With the help of two special response teams, the three were nabbed during a raid on Dawson Station Road. Two pounds of cocaine was found during the search.

Terrance Sutton, 53, of Kinston, was charged with four counts of selling/delivering cocaine, four counts of conspiring to sell cocaine, four counts of trafficking cocaine, conspiring to traffic cocaine, six counts of maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, and four counts of possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine.

Ramiro Alonso, 44, of La Grange was charged with three counts of trafficking cocaine, and three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

Casimiro Pineda, 52, of La Grange was charged with three counts of trafficking cocaine and three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
