MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WITN) -The Town of Morehead City says that the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is currently addressing a failed storm drain within the railroad right of way at the intersection of Arendell and 20th streets.

Consequently, the left lane of westbound traffic is closed, and the intersection is inaccessible to through traffic.

This repair project is expected to extend until at least Wednesday, June 5th.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution, reduce speed, and merge carefully when navigating through the area.
